Napoleon Hill was a consultant living in the White House when FDR was leading the nation through the Great Depression. It was while he was in the White House that Hill wrote Think and Grow Rich. More than twenty years before,Hill was commissioned by the richest man in the world at the time, Andrew Carnegie, to research and develop a philosophy of success so that every person didn't have to learn through the hard process of trial and error every time.
